A Council spokesman commented: "All the drivers who have got the cameras are delighted. They have said it's made a massive difference" "Some passengers have also said they feel safer in a taxi which has cameras fitted, so it is not just the drivers who benefit."

The P-Vision Miniature 12V MP4 SDDVR With Removable SD Card:

This tiny palm-sized MP4 SDDVR instant playback 2.3" screen can be used in more covert situations than the larger standard sized DVR's. It provides one channel audio video and combines great quality digital recording. As your customers get into your vehicle, they will see live pictures of themselves and this will act as an obvious deterrent.

Including A Miniature IR (Infra Red) Night Vision Camera:

This package includes one very small IR (infra red) night vision camera that will require a permanent or iginition live 12V feed to the mini camera. The video signal cable from your camera can then be connected directly to your SDDVR which is supplied with a cigarette lighter cable (or can be hard wired) and hey presto! your up and running.  Camera incorporates led indicators to enhance the pictures in various light conditions, the LED's will light up at night time as a warning to your customers that they are being recorded.

Audio & Video Recording

The maximum recording time is 1.5hr - 3hrs continous (1GB Card Supplied). If you are hard wiring this SDDVR, we would recommend that an on off switch is fitted to ensure that video recording takes place only when you require it and when passengers are in the car. This will save memory space and your valuable time when reviewing the captured video. Playback Records up to 30fps (frames per second) real time video recording. A red indicator light on the DVR will flash when the SD card has reached 3/4's capacity, you can either delete all files, replace with a spare SD card or it will automatically record over previous stored images - your ready to go again.

Download And Viewing Video Footage

With a built in rechargable Li-Ion battery, simply remove the portable mobile SDDVR from your vehicle and connect to any PC or TV  whenever you want to view or download the video images.
