Our Basic entry level TV tuner kit will provide the perfect upgrade if all you want, is to get your TV back up and running with free view TV channels and free view DAB radio channels playing through your front screen and vehicle speakers. Installation And Fitting Instructions Supplied

We do not generally advocate self installation although, these innovative upgrade kits are not too difficult to install and basic instructions are indeed supplied for those of you DIY enthusiasts who have a general knowledge of car electrics, help will be at hand if required. All of the installation of our upgrade kits takes place in the boot of your vehicle beside your existing Lear analogue TV tuner, with no need to go behind the front navigation screen.

There are three parts to the installation:-

• Plug and Play (Passive AV Interface) Connection
• Connection Of The New TV Tuner Module (Positive, Negative Feed And Accessory Live Feed Required).
• Remote Eye And Internal Aerial (3.5m Cable) Installation Inside The Cabin Of Your Vehicle

All of our upgrade TV tuners, are small enough to place beside your existing lear TV tuner module in your boot, with all connection cables hidden from sight. You will then require to run the remote eye (the size of the nail on your middle finger), inside the cabin and also to run the upgrade antenna and cable which requires to be placed on clear glass if possible. The remote eye could be installed at the top of the rear windscreen (bang in the middle), where the head cloth meets the windscreen, aim the remote control at the rear view mirror and you will be able to select your favourite TV channels on your front screen.

Where Do I Install My Antennas 

If you have purchased our Basic upgrade kit with 1 x Antenna, this can be installed either at the top of the rear windscreen above the heated elements, on the rear quarter windows or worst case scenario, on the top left hand side of the front windscreen.

If you have purchased one of our Classic or Executive upgrade kits, the ideal positioning of the twin antennas, is one on the front windscreen (top left hand corner passenger side), and one on the rear windscreen (top right hand corner driver side), or one on each quarter window.

I Do Not Want Ugly Glass Mount Aerials 

If you have purchased either our Classic or Executive upgrade kits and you do not want any antennas showing on your internal windows, you have the option of further upgrading to our phantom (hide away) antennas which are installed either externally (under a spoiler for example), or inside your bumpers, there is no need to remove the bumper to install these. These are fully waterproofed active 5V feed antennas, and offer outstanding performance.  The standard price of our phantom aerials is £89.95, but the price is subsidised to £59.95 if you have purchased one of our twin TV tuner receiver upgrade kits.

UK Nationwide Installation & Fitting

Installation of our systems would take no more than 1 – 2hrs to complete and if required, we should be able to arrange a local installer to come to you for this purpose – maximum installation price would be £120.00 + Vat or £120.00 cash on satisfactory completion.
